Optometrists in Brockton, North Dartmouth, and North Attleborough
Our Doctors of Optometry, (O.D.), are trained and educated in advanced optical theory as well as the medical and surgical care of the human eye.
Their education is four to six years post-collegiate. All Doctors of Optometry are graduates of ASCO-accredited Colleges of Optometry in the United States. The eye care training they receive surpasses the training related to the eye which is taught to students in U.S. medical schools. All non surgical diseases of the human eye are treated by Optometrists. In most states, oral medication can be used to treat systemic conditions related to the eye by ODs. Many Doctors of Optometry are Board Certified Optometrists, under the American Board of Optometry, (A.B.O).
In our office, your total eye care will be managed and treated. We often remove foreign bodies, insert punctal plugs for the treatment of dry eye, and spend time in the medical care of your eye conditions. Those would include Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma, Cataract, pink eye, and many other common eye afflictions.
Don’t hesitate to call our offices 7 days a week; someone will be here to assist you.

What People Say About Us!
“Dr. Magalhaes and associates are an excellent, perfect operation. I lived out of state for a time and, out of necessity, had to undergo an exam and glasses fitting by another practice where I was living. It was a hellish experience and I promptly returned to Dr. Magalhaes as soon as I returned home, for good. I will continue to rely on this practice for excellent eye care. “
