A 1997 graduate of the world-renowned New England (NE) College of Optometry, Dr. Magalhaes brings nearly a decade of clinical experience in medical eye care as managing doctor. He received his bachelor degree and doctorate degree in Optometry from the acclaimed NE College of Optometry.
Serving as chairman of the Southeast District of the MA Society of Optometrists, he has had the privilege of working with leaders in the practice of ophthalmic medicine, forging new ideas in optometric clinical practice. As Managed Care Committee chairman with the MSO, he has worked hard to "level the playing field" for the profession in the area of third-party payers. In the capacity of Executive Board member, he has also helped guide public policy on issues that affect eye care.
His specialty is in the area of anterior segment disease including dry eyes and contact lens-related care. Most important, he is a good listener of his patients' problems, advocating for those under his care and treating all with the utmost respect and dedication.

Dr. Michelle Lewis graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 1999. She specializes in primary eye care, including contacts, treatment and management of ocular disease, and LASIK co-management and consultaion.
Dr. Lewis has a strong patient following and is always welcoming new patients.
Dr. Lori B. Michaud, a Maine native, graduated cum laude from the University of Maine with a Bachelor's degree in Zoology. While at UMaine, she was chosen as a member of the Alpha Zeta Honor Society.
Dr. Michaud received her doctorate of optometry from New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts where she graduated cum Laude and became a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.
During her fourth year, she was a clinical skills and academic tutor to first year students. Her fourth year externships included Joslin Diabetes Clinic in Boston, where she gained extensive exposure to diabetes and its ocular sequelae, and the Balitmore VA in Baltimore, MD where emphasis was on diabetes, glaucoma, and posterior segment disease.
Dr. Holly Rodrigues Moskos graduated from Providence College, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology (Pre-Med). She was the recipient of the Dean Merit Scholarship and also was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta Honor Society.
During her undergraduate summers, Dr. Moskos was the recipient of the Solomon's Children Foundation Summer Grant Program, which allowed her to partake in medical internships at area hospitals while also helping children in community programs. This experience led to her choosing optometry as a career.
Dr. Moskos attended Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO), where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree. During her years at PCO, she was a member of the American Optometric Student Association and National Optometric Student Association. Moreover, her fourth year of optometry school included externships focusing on eye disease, low vision, primary care and pediatrics.
She is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists, as well as the American Optometric Association Contact Lens and Cornea Section.
Dr. Joseph Tarantino graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 1992. After graduation, he joined the United States Navy. As an optometrist and Naval officer, he treated active duty personnel and their families.
Since completing his service to the Navy, Dr. Tarantino has worked at Cambridge Eye Centers and has recently joined Dr. Magalhaes and Associates. With his superb clinical expertise and caring personality, he has become a wonderful practice addition.
